Mark your agenda! Saturday 15th of June the annual Construction Day takes place. During this day all kinds of building sites are open to the public and so is the building site of Het Platform. Between 10.00 and 16.00 our team will be ready to welcome you to the new hotspot of Utrecht for living, working, eating, hanging out and working out.
Het Platform reached its highest point in March this year, is 46,5 meters high, has 12 floors and a total surface of 18.500 m2. The building, located above the tram station (Uithoflijn), marks the east side of Utrecht Central Station. The construction is in full swing. This offers the visitors a unique opportunity to see all the different building phases! The first four floors have reached an advanced stage – these floors and even show houses can be visited during Construction Day – while the top floors still show the rough structure.
Every 15 minutes a guided tour by architect, building expert or project manager, will depart from the first floor. Children above the age of eight can join the tour. Of course, the younger ones are also welcome. They can attend activities on the first floor under guided supervision by a parent or legal guardian
The whole day VenhoevenCS (architect), Bouw21 (constructor) and abcnova (process management) will be around to give information about the project and answer all your questions.
