Information

Together with Amvest and Kavel Vastgoed, we are transforming the former Schuttersveld sports complex in Rotterdam into a dynamic, multifunctional centre where sport, living and care integrates seamlessly.

At the heart of the new Schuttersveld is a sports centre integrated into the larger structure, visible from all angles and designed to invite interaction. The partially submerged sports hall brings movement and activity to life, making sport visible and engaging to everyone in and around the building. The green roof terraces and public spaces invite social interaction and promote a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, smart solutions for water integration and climate control ensure that the building is sustainable and future-proof.

The complex will include approximately 190 homes, featuring social housing, mid-range rental, and luxury apartments. Some of the homes will be part of the Dagelijks Leven (Daily Life) concept, specifically aimed at the elderly. Seniors will be able to live independently here with care provided at home. In addition to independent living, there will be a section for intensive care, perfectly aligning with the “Langer Thuis” (Living Longer at Home) Agreement of the Municipality of Rotterdam.

The Schuttersveld complex will also include a healthcare center, library, hospitality venues, and other social and cultural functions, creating a lively and sustainable space that contributes to the community and the well-being of its residents. Construction is expected to begin in early 2027.
