On the occasion of our network event ‘Dag van Het Gebouw’ on June 19th 2013, we published a booklet on Het Gebouw. It describes the unique challenge of combining a multifunctional program of education, sports, care facilities and housing for different types of residents in order to stimulate social cohesion. Het Gebouw is an example how to revitalize a post-war city centre into a lively neighbourhood where people live and recreate together in a natural way.
