Building contract signed for energy-neutral Sports Complex Erasmus University Rotterdam

The building contract between Stichting Erasmus Sportaccommodaties and Remmers Bouwgroep has been signed. The signature marks the start of the construction of a new energy-neutral sports building on the Woudestein campus.
A characteristic feature of the new sports complex will be the inner street that connects two parts of the building. The covered street has a logistical function but is also a meeting place for the users of the building. The sports building is also a leader in the field of sustainability. With this, Sports Complex EUR is taking another step towards a sustainable and CO2 neutral campus. The new sports building will be an energy-neutral building and the principles of circular construction will be applied.
