OMEGA Complex Inaugurated in Paris-Saclay

On 22 November, Paris-Saclay welcomed a thoughtfully integrated new addition to the campus with the inauguration of the OMEGA Swimming and Sports Complex. Designed as a vibrant hub for the Gif-sur-Yvette community, OMEGA reflects the region’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and inclusivity, fostering connections between nature, architecture, and people.
The architecture blends harmoniously with its natural surroundings, featuring interconnected rectangular volumes adorned with translucent panels and expansive glass bands. This design creates a dynamic façade that evolves with the seasons, while transparency at ground level invites interaction and connection, reinforcing its role as a community gathering space.
