OMEGA – Enhancing Connection and Community

The OMEGA Aquatics Centre in Gif-sur-Yvette is now open! This sport complex serves as both a social and sports hub in the Moulon neighborhood, acting as a gateway to the western section of the Paris-Saclay urban campus. It is well-connected to the Paris metropolitan area, thanks to the future Grand Paris Express.
It creates a natural landscape connection between the plateau and the valley, and fosters interactions between the various campus communities and the residents of Gif-sur-Yvette through sports. The project stands out for its compact design, which minimizes impermeable surfaces and emphasizes natural spaces. Its discreet and elegant architecture adapts to changes in light and weather, creating a constantly evolving and refreshed appearance.
