The construction of Sports Complex EUR has officially started! The online and live event, hosted by Erasmus University Rotterdam, included several guests who spoke about the importance of the campus developments for the University and the city of Rotterdam. What role does sustainability play? What does our future education look like? And how important are sports and exercise for body and mind? During the webinar programme, a ‘first pole’  was symbolically struck for the new building.

VenhoevenCS designed the new and attractive sports complex as a training facility and venue that offers more than sports alone. As a result of high ambitions with regards to sustainability and energy-use by Erasmus University Rotterdam, the building will be circular and energy neutral.
