Today it finally happened! The pedestrian overpass, with a width of 18 meters and length of 100 meters, has been moved over the highway to its final place! The bridge creates a new and important connection between the Stade de France and the Aquatics Centre. The latter is situated within the future eco-district Plaine Saulnier. As the overpass is specifically dedicated to low traffic, a wholly new urban link for people to meet and linger while enjoying the view on the Basilique of Saint-Denis, is being created.

The placement of the overpass was an amazing effort by the whole team. It started yesterday evening and continues during the coming days for the sake of the last important details – not in the least the rebuilding of the highway for traffic to run again on Thursday!
